Module Details
INDICATIVE CONTENT
This module will help educators to develop understanding of the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in developing education practices and processes. Participants will explore opportunities to identify needs and possible solutions within education by engaging with educational businesses, organisations and institutions, education technology conferences and webinars. This will provide participants with the opportunity to pitch a proposal to an education audience for critically constructive feedback. As part of this process, participants will engage in activities to develop creative thinking and presentation skills.
ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT DETAILS
Present and defend an entrepreneurial/innovative proposal outlining an identified development to improve educational practices or processes relating to your professional role/aspired professional role. The written proposal requires academic literature. The proposal should be defended through a persuasive pitch which will include peer questions and answers.

This module will be delivered through a mixture of interactive sessions as well as opportunities to critically evaluate innovative practices experienced at education conferences/webinars. Participants will work together to identify needs within their education context and be supported to think creatively to consider possible solutions.
