ASSESSMENT DETAILS
The assessment consists of two elements:

1. 1. Mid-Term Exam - Multiple Choice Question (1 hour) (30%) (LO 1&2)
2. Term-End Exam – (2 hours) (70%) (LO 1&2).
INDICATIVE CONTENT
This module will address the following aspects of business:

• Overview of business activities and organisations.
• Business functions; marketing, production, finance.
• Change and competition; human resources.

LEARNING STRATEGIES
The module presents contextual and explanatory material, together with recommended reading in lectures. The content of the lectures introduces and explores a range of business concepts/ideas/principles that are presented and discussed in tutorials. Lecture and tutorial based-learning are complemented by assessed formative exercises.
