Module Indicative Content
Automotive electronic systems overview covering major categories including engine/power train control, ride/handling control, cruise control, braking/traction control, instrumentation, power steering control, occupant protection, entertainment, comfort control and cellular phones.
Vehicle electrical systems, Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and interference suppression, automotive lighting technology, automotive microelectronics, sensors, data processing and serial data transfer systems.
Electric and Hybrid vehicle technology, electronic systems and telemetry in motor sport applications
Module Additional Assessment Details
100% in course assessment (ICA). Two assignments equally weighted at 50%, 2,000 words each.
Assignment one is weighted at 50% assessing learning outcome one and a second assignment weighted at 50% assesses learning outcomes two and three.
