Module Indicative Content
Overview:
Review of analogue building blocks (passive and active) including resistors, capacitors, inductors and op-amps (bandwidth, gain-bandwidth product, slew rate) and their high frequency models
Analogue signal processing blocks such as anti-aliasing & reconstruction filters, high performance filters (elliptic), high-frequency (RF) filters (LC)
Analogue circuit simulation using PSPICE
Review of RF devices and equivalent circuits, RF amplifier, oscillator and mixer design
RF design including impedance matching/ smith chart, RF front end design
conventional RF transmitter-receiver systems
analogue very large scale integration (VLSI) using design, layout, RF considerations
Applications of Analogue systems and Telemetry in Automotive Engineering
