Module Details
INDICATIVE CONTENT
This module develops the knowledge, understanding and skills required for the design, manufacture and testing of electronic products.
A mixture of lectures and practical sessions will be delivered.

Topics covered will include:

Design for manufacture using EDA tools
PCB Design considerations for THT and SM devices
Design for EMC
Thermal and Mechanical Considerations
Assembly and manufacturing techniques
Testing of completed products
Reliability
ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT DETAILS
One individual coursework assignment of 2,500 words (based upon a case study) 100% covering all Learning Outcomes.
