Physical parameters and their properties for engineering solutions;
Physical parameter sensing principles with electro-mechanical translation in engineering design;
1D, 2D, 3D data acquisition and reliability analysis;
Nano, Pico, Micro and Macro cellular environments and challenges;
Homogenous and Heterogeneous connectivity of devices ;
Wireless sensor networks, protocols, design principles and scalability;
Device connectivity, synchronization, throughput design and reconfiguration;
Information Security, Device/node localization, device power management;
OSI based Network design;
Application-resource constrained information sensitivity based dynamic network infrastructure design;
Big-data handling and network optimization.
ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT DETAILS
1) One coursework (3000 word mini project) 50%, learning outcomes 1, 2,.
2) Two hour written examination 50%, learning outcomes 3, and 4.
