Put your voice centre-stage, reach a larger audience, and learn to work with other creatives and academics in this module which aims to provide as authentic an experience as possible of working in the creative and literary world.
MODULE LEARNING STRATEGIES
This is a practice-led module which is delivered via workshops which give freedom to explore your own practice and to learn about the history, context, and development of several publishing forms relevant to the discipline of English and Creative Writing.

Additional Assessment Details
The Group Presentation gives you the chance to create a professional pitch for your project. (learning outcome 3).

The Collaborative Portfolio will comprise writing produced collaboratively. This could be one long piece or up to three shorter pieces, and may include creative writing, literary journalism, essays, reviews, podcasts, blogs and vlogs, small print, or digital publications. (learning outcomes 1, 2,).
Indicative Content
This module will help equip you with the transferable skills and experience required to become a creative practitioner in a variety of different sectors and roles. Areas of collaboration may include writing song lyrics, writing game narratives, creating anthologies, a podcast series, and adaptation. You will be guided through a variety of publishing ideas and contexts to bring your work to larger audiences ranging from traditional print publishing to digital platforms such as podcasts and transmedia narratives. Working with other practitioners provides you with valuable communication and negotiation skills required in many professional employment settings.
