Module Learning Strategies
The learning strategy for this module requires students to commit to 300 learning hours (including assessment). Of this there will be 72 hours of class or workshop support and 228 hours of independent and self-directed study.

Module Indicative Content
This module develops the concept of leadership from a theoretical basis, drawing significant and contemporary influences to inform leadership behaviour at a strategic level.

The dynamic nature of these influences will require in depth understanding and appreciation of;

- the principles of ethical leadership
- the principles of followership
- the influences of politics on organisational behaviour
- the principles of strategic leadership
- strategic choice
- organisational culture
- key contemporary issues and influences on leadership and organisational behaviour
