Module Details
Module Learning Strategies
The learning strategy for the module requires you to commit 150 learning hours (including assessment). Of this there will be 36 hours of class support and 114 hours of independent and self-directed study.

During the academic year, you will review and analyse an array of roles within On-Air Talent within an esports broadcasting space and be encouraged to participate in practical examples or work behind the scenes with script writing and narrative design. To supplement your learning, this module will be taught through a hands-on approach, taking advantage of the practical skills that are required to succeed in these highly competitive positions within the esports world of broadcast production. You will have the opportunity to utilise our dedicated Esports Hub and the industry standard equipment and software that can be found within.

Students will produce a live cast for an esports title of their choice.

A written report (1,500 words)
Students will write a report evaluating key technical and theoretical skills that are present in casters for a particular esports title, with reference to their own live cast.
