MODULE ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT DETAILS
Formative
In cooperation with the careers team, students will undertake the mock interview for specific roles based on those previous CV applications.
Assessment 1 (30%)
Students will reflect on themselves and where they are in their journey, producing a professional and personal skills audit to identify key areas of development as well as a CV targeted to a role within the esports industry.
LO2
Assessment 2 (70%)
The essay explores 3 desired career roles and allow students to delve into the pathway to any job role of their desire within the Esports industry.

MODULE INDICATIVE CONTENT
In this module students will develop their personal professional skills and understand different career paths into the industry and the knowledge and skills required within the process. They will expand their skill set and build upon their personal portfolio working towards relevant industry expectations and desired employability behaviours.
Students will be able to demonstrate important self-reflective skills to evidence their personal growth and productivity. They will be able to show their competence towards visual/verbal communication and attitude towards a workplace environment.

WEB DESCRIPTOR
Define your journey to the esports industry, or where else you may take your career in life after university. In this module students will be encouraged to identify their career pathway in a specialised area, and where that might lead them. Students will develop their professional portfolio and learn key skills that will enhance their employability skills with support from the university’s careers team.
MODULE LEARNING STRATEGIES
Students will be expected to engage in a variety of learning strategies, including but not limited to:
- Tutor led formal presentations
- Workshops and group-based tutorials
