Spiralling regulatory and compliance requirements increase the cost of doing business, and lead to cross-border fragmentation. More rules and regulatory complexity lead to organizations acting defensively, focusing on compliance at the expense of the bigger picture of how they are going to be successful.
The module will help you to identify trends of uncertainties, opportunities and risks, trade-offs and implications faced by the organisations through scenarios, forecasting and predictive analytics.
You will understand the importance of providing timely insights on market trends, customers, products and suppliers, critical resources and financial performance. Furthermore, effective reporting the organisation will help to align its strategy, value-drivers and performance measurement with resource allocation.
As part of the role of a storyteller, reporting improves connections between people (internal and external stakeholders), processes and systems to develop an integrated view of performance, incorporating both financial and non-financial information.
