Module Details
Module Indicative Content
You will be introduced to the role modern digital technology has both within the workplace and within the important role of self promotion. The module will then lead you to the creation of an online portfolio of your work to be used to secure work placements for the later modules. You will investigate how to incorporate different media forms (video or music) within your hypertext document. The module also generates a personal development plan individual to each learner that will give them a plan to their future studies and entrance to the Industry.
Module Additional Assessment Details
A 1000 word report on the impact of a particular piece of technology on a particular part of society. Learning outcome 1. Weighted at 40%.

Internet On Line Portfolio and presentation of 5 minutes reflecting upon how the portfolio promotes the learner to the workplace. Learning Outcomes 2 and 3. Weighted at 40%.

500 Word written Employment and Development Plan - Learning Outcome 4. Weighted at 20%.
