Coursework, an evaluation (typically 1000 words) weighted at 70% addressing Outcomes 3 and 4 and an event inspection weighted at 30% addressing outcome 1 and 2.
Module Indicative Content
This module requires students to demonstrate the technical aspects of live, on location television production undertaking appropriate roles in the production of collaborative projects and reporting on them.
In the course they will gain knowledge of,
1. The logistics of location production
2. Working under the direction of a Director in a live situation
3. Camera and lighting techniques for live recording
4. Establishing an on location live feed
4. Problem solving in a live situation

All aspects of the module will be facilitated through workshops, tutorials, problem solving exercises and practical participation in the production of major collaborative projects using laboratory equipment and editing facilities
