Module Learning Strategies
3 hour lab/practical each week.

Learning on all aspects of the content will be facilitated by labs and tutorials, problem solving exercises and student centred learning. Practical assignments using portable and fixed film making equipment will support the learning.
Module Indicative Content
This module develops an understanding of genre and develops the technological and management techniques and team working skills required for the production of film and television drama. Developing a script, students will be developing the groundwork for the production of a major collaborative project.
Through this module students will gain knowledge of;
1. The technology required for production
2. Film and television drama genres
3. Script and project development
4 The logistics of production
Module Additional Assessment Details

A coursework weighted at 30% addressing Learning Outcomes 1 and 2. Individual Logbook, peer assessment, group production folder.
A report weighted at 70%. Individual project development process report addressing Learning Outcomes 1, 2 and 3.
