Module Additional Assessment Details
Individual assignment to produce a 3-5 minute film (weighted at 50%) in 2 stages, phase 1 mute, phase 2 with an independently produced soundtrack to assess learning outcomes 1, 3 and 4.

Coursework, a practical design based assignment for the creation of digital imagery and a DVD menu accompanied by a (typically) 1000 word) evaluation of the processes involved (weighted at 50%) addressing Learning outcomes 1, 2, 3 and 4
Module Learning Strategies
12 x 3 hour lab/practicals.
Learning on all aspects of the content will be facilitated by labs and tutorials, problem solving exercises and student centred learning. Practical assignments using portable and fixed film making equipment will also support the learning.
