Module Learning Strategies
Student learning is centred around 6 one hour lectures and 9 two hour laboratory session. plus directed tutorial sessions All aspects of the content will be facilitated by lectures and tutorials, problem solving exercises and student centred learning.
Practical assignments using laboratory equipment and a simulation package will support the learning.
Module Indicative Content
1. To develop skills in graphics technology and the relevant underlying mathematics
2. To Techniques and skills to develop interfaces for television titles and captions.
3. Knowledge of colour modes, image, acquisition, basic compression and image manipulation.
Module Additional Assessment Details

Individual technical report (30%) assessing learning outcomes 1 & 2.
Practical design based assessment (70%) for the creation of imagery which will assess learning outcome 3 & 4
