Module Learning Strategies
8 x 1 hour lectures and 8 x two hour practical sessions, 12 hours tutorials with group discussion.
The practical sessions will support and develop the underlying knowledge, understanding and skills required to complete the module.

Module Indicative Content
Learning will focus on developing the necessary skills required for the management of film and television productions as well as requiring students to develop an understanding of general business, contractual and legal issues surrounding the industry.
Through this module students will gain knowledge of:
1. General accounting
2. Motivation and people management
3. Budgeting for film and television productions, rates of pay for production crews and technologists.
4. Defamation, copyright, privacy, Health and Safety and legal issues to be considered when undertaking pre-production, production and post-production of film and television programming.
