Indicative Content
In this module you will learn the cinematography, sound and video editing skills required for the film production process. You will study camera and lighting techniques to build your awareness of cinematography. You will gain an understanding of core concepts of camera setup and through practical workshops you will develop lighting skills.
You will study audio recording and mixing techniques and you will gain an understanding of equipment used through the audio chain and the techniques and methods used to apply to audio projects. Post production techniques will be studied and you will gain an understanding of the processes and techniques that can apply across a number of editing styles.
• You will build skills across the fundamental technical and craft areas of film production
• You will apply these skills in practical exercises
• You can focus your specialism within one of the main areas of cinematography, sound or editing

You will study camera and lighting techniques to build your awareness of cinematography. You will learn post production processes and skills. This is all done through practical workshops and tasks. This module will cover film making from a technical and creative point of view. The module is the building block for all your future production and post production work.
