Module Indicative Content
This module builds on module FD008-1 studied in year 1, developing an understanding of the technology, pre-production, production and post production techniques required for the production of a collaborative drama.
Through this module students will gain knowledge of;
1. The way in which technology (camera skills, lighting and editing skills) is applied to the production of film or television drama.
2. The logistical, business, organisational and team working skills required when producing dram for film or television.
Module Learning Strategies
3 hour lab/practical each week.

Learning on all aspects of the content will be facilitated by production meetings, tutorials, and student centred learning. Practical assignments using portable and fixed film making equipment will support the learning.

Module Additional Assessment Details

A report length 1200 words weighted at 70% addressing Learning outcomes 1 and 2. An individual production report and evaluation of completed project.
A coursework weighted at 30% addressing Learning outcomes 3, 4 and 5. This will comprise the final film, peer assessment, a group production folder and an audience survey.
