An Evaluation (1200 words) and employer/tutor report weighted at 50% addressing Outcome 3 and 4.
Practical Examination 6 hours weighted at 50% addressing Outcomes 1 and 2. Working to a client brief to create a short insert for a television programme.

Module Learning Strategies
All aspects of the module will be facilitated through workshops, tutorials, problem solving exercises and practical participation in the production of major collaborative projects using laboratory equipment and editing facilities.
Module Indicative Content
This module requires students to advance their technical video editing and audio production skills through undertaking appropriate roles in the production of major collaborative projects.

In the course they will gain knowledge of;

2. In depth audio functions
3. Nesting effects
4. Transitions
5. Film styles
6. Montage editing and Chroma key
7. Working to a client brief
