Module Learning Strategies
Learning will be lectures, practical tutorials, self study and technical instruction.

1 hour lecture, 2 hours tutorials per week
Module Indicative Content
The students will work as a group to produce a studio based television programme.
In the course they will gain knowledge of:

1. Scriptwriting Element
Creative and technical requirements including technical directions for studio based programmes.
2. Pre Production Element
How to design, structure, research and produce filmed/edited inserts for a studio programme.
3. Studio Production Element
Working as a team to produce a studio programme.
Aims to provide understanding of the digital technology and creative knowledge used in studio based production.
Module Additional Assessment Details
A Coursework weighted at 100% to include:

Written 25%: 2000 word log book addressing learning outcome 1 and 3
Practical 25%: Creation of programme materials and live productions, addressing learning outcomes 2, 4 and 5
Final Practical 50%: Creation of programme materials and live productions, addressing learning outcomes 2, 4 and 5
