Module Indicative Content
The students will work as a group to produce preproduction materials for a live studio programme.
In the course they will gain knowledge of:

1. Scriptwriting Element
Creative and technical requirements including technical directions for studio based programmes.
2. Pre Production Element
How to design, structure, research and produce filmed/edited inserts for a studio programme
3. Pre Production Element
Creating a visual design for a live studio show
4. Technical Element
Each student will learn all technical areas and be given time to specialise in their chosen area.
Module Additional Assessment Details
A group submission containing all script and preparatory work for a live studio production 75% to assess learning outcomes 2, 3 and 4.
Exam: 25% to assess learning outcome 1 (1 hour).
