Module Special Admissions Requirements
CE00735-4 Vehicle Concept Design or equivalent.
Module Indicative Content
This module investigates the creative underlying engineering principles of aircraft design and teaches the students how to conceptualise and sketch aircraft accurately. It investigates the dynamics of flight and how the design of the body and engines relates to its ability stability and flight. A range of both historical, contemporary and fictional aircraft designs will be studied. This theory will be applied to developing a student's ability to design creative aircraft from a conceptual perspective in 2D for the eventual use in a computer game or a film.
