INDICATIVE CONTENT
The development of the technological and business skills required for the production of film and television documentaries. Building on the research and knowledge gained in semester 3 apply to produce a practical piece: a documentary production.

1. Analyse a range of documentary programmes and their genres for broadcast via different outlets: including the use of camera and format.
2. Apply ideas and content to produce a documentary taking into consideration any legal or ethical issues.
3. Plan and produce a documentary to a professional standard.
5. Evaluate the finished product.
LEARNING STRATEGIES
12 x 3 hours Learning will be practical tutorials. A certain amount of study is expected to be from research and self study and application to the practical. Students are expected to evaluate the latest technology used in television documentary production.
