Indicative Content
This module will introduce you to the processes involved in the creation of non-fiction films. You will be able to choose to work with in factual/ documentary, experimental or commercial filmmaking. The module will enable you to develop the business, creative and technical skills required for non-fiction productions. Through the module you will develop and create a practical piece: a short non-fiction film suitable to the chosen genre.

You will analyse a range of non-fiction productions including the use of camera and form, editing processes and styles and legal and ethical issues and distribution pathways to produce a non-fiction production.
