Module Details
INDICATIVE CONTENT
Through participation in the development, management, and production of corporate projects, you will work with industry professionals to produce promotional video content for external clients. You will learn the principles, practices and ethical considerations of corporate production and engage with practitioners to interpret client requirements, propose suitable production techniques, and drive projects through to completion.

You will develop a portfolio of professional corporate project work, which will be supported by employer feedback and a reflective blog that highlights the preparation, organisation and research required to align your filmmaking practice to specific client expectations.
ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT DETAILS
ASSESSMENT ONE: CORPORATE PORTFOLIO

A Corporate Portfolio to include completed corporate project work, supported by employer feedback and a reflective blog documenting personal and professional development.

LOs (Learning Outcomes): 1-5 100%.
LEARNING STRATEGIES
Learning strategies used in the module are grounded in a student-centred approach, utilising project-based experiential learning, and authentic assessment. This means you are learning about corporate filmmaking by working alongside industry professionals to make corporate films for real clients. You can hyper personalise learning by engaging in differentiated projects and production roles. While there is a requirement to meet the client brief, your crew will have the freedom to apply a range of creative production methods.

Workshops will introduce fundamental theories that underpin the development of corporate filmmaking and business practices.

Work-based learning will provide a collaborative learning experience and enable you to work alongside industry professionals to participate in the production of corporate video work for external clients.

Technical Instruction provides hands on experience with professional camera, audio and lighting equipment and specialist post production facilities.

Studio & Location fieldwork is an integral part of your learning process. Applying your creative, technical, and theoretical skills to an authentic shooting scenario on location and in the studio.

Student crews (groups) are supported by a Production Supervisor (Lecturer) that models the industry role of an Executive Producer. This means you will receive regular formative feedback on your production and employability skills, which you can use to improve before submitting work for assessment.

Production Supervisors will continually monitor and assess your employability skills, such as, communication, working with others, organisation, participation, engagement, resilience, and adaptability.
