2 hours per week Individual research, working as a member of a team and tutor lead debate.

Module Indicative Content
Students will gain knowledge of -
International television broadcast standards, digital acquisition, digitisation and compression methods, non-linear editing and post production to include image manipulation, digital colour grading and colour correction. Location lighting will also be studied. Special attention will be paid to the juxtaposition of sound and image. Recording media will be investigated utilising tape formats, disc and solid state storage. Graduate skills will be introduced, developed or assessed as detailed in the appropriate awards skills map.
