Coursework, a written report length 4000 words weighted at 100% addressing Learning outcomes 1, 2 3, and 4. The principles of launching and distributing a digital feature film.
Module Indicative Content
Through studying this module students will be able to develop and demonstrate an understanding of the wider business skills and practices required for the launch and exhibition of a digital feature film. Areas of study include:
Film festivals
Marketing - social media
- TV and cinema
Distribution windows
Revenue sharing
Independent film distribution
Studio film distribution
Module Learning Strategies
6 x 2hr lectures supported by 20 x 3 hour lab/practical sessions and group and individual tutorials
Learning on all aspects of the content will be facilitated through lectures and case studies supplemented by workshops and tutorials to support the practical development and management of filmed product.
