Module Details
Indicative Content
This module enables you to explore an area of the film and/or media industries in depth. You will design and disseminate in negotiation with your supervisor a sustained piece of critically engaged work drawing upon your research. The module stresses the dialogue between the study of media and its industrial application, and you will consider how your research can best be communicated to an audience. This may be through methods such as a written research report, video essay or a media campaign or event. The emphasis of the research project is on the development of strong research skills and effective communication which foregrounds key transferable skills linked to employability, critical and creative thinking, communication, self-management, social responsibility, and leadership.
