INDICATIVE CONTENT


The purpose of this module is to assess industry-based practice you engaged in alongside your film production studies, thus providing a formal mechanism to gain credit for engagement in professional practice.



You will seek out and secure work experience opportunities, which support your future career aspirations. This will enable you to expand your professional network and build links with other freelance professionals, companies and organisations.



You will critically evaluate the work experience you undertake and analyse the impact of these experiences on your career development planning. You will reflect and evaluate how career specific and transferable skills are applied within professional contexts.



You will compile a portfolio of evidence that documents the breadth and depth of your work experience you have completed. You will use this evidence to demonstrate the impact these experiences have had on your chosen career pathway.



The presentation will allow you to showcase the range of career specific and transferable skills you have applied during your work experience. You will evaluate how these experiences have informed the development of your professional practice and demonstrate how this will support your career progression.

LEARNING STRATEGIES

Academic tutorials will be used to review your research and planning for work experience. Staff will coach you through the process of finding and securing your work experience opportunities.



You will access of the careers hub and careers connect team to get support with finding and securing work experience opportunities.
