INDICATIVE CONTENT
This module will provide technical and creative understanding to both theoretical and practical problems associated with filmmaking.
Students will be taught advanced cinematography skills using a range of cutting edge equipment. They will develop an enhanced knowledge of solving problems and practical skillset linked to the production of scenes of the feature film. This could include shooting of action scenes; visual effects scenes, recording of audio for Foley and ADR purposes.
Students will study feature film production, from history, current trends to develop an advanced theory and practice of filmmaking.
LEARNING STRATEGIES
You will be expected to attend a series of 12 x 2 hour lectures, workshops and seminars.
Directed reading and learning will be given out after each class with practical tasks.
Discussions with experts in Industry and University.
Advice and guidance will be given by the visiting tutor via visits, email communication
