Module Indicative Content
This module will develop your ability to construct an individual working agenda. It will promote your developing concerns as established in the first semester. You will continue to speculate and experiment with ideas and materials to open up new and unexplored areas within your practice. The module will allow you to increase your awareness of the material and thematic elements of your practice through tutorial and seminar discussion and studio presentation.
Module Learning Strategies
With tutorial support you will be expected to formulate a plan of work for the semester. This will include the use of visual research and contextual analogy as means by which you identify your chosen area of exploration. The emphasis will be on continued speculation through which your self-generated project can be consolidated.
The module will be delivered using the group dynamic achieved in a studio based learning environment, as well as formal studio tutorials and seminars. Teaching methods throughout the semester will also include responsive studio tutorials and studio led group seminars.
A menu of workshops building on your semester 1 experience will allow you practical opportunities for developing skills in relation to your individual programme of work.
