This will be an exhibition catalogue, detailing the rationale and contextual background for the hanging and production of the exhibition.

An introductory lecture outlining the nature of curated exhibitions with contemporary examples.
Working as member of a group to curate an exhibition.
Writing a brief written proposal outlining the nature of your individual exhibition.
Tutorials before each installation and a group seminar in conjunction with each exhibition.
Module Indicative Content
This module introduces you to issues arising from the exhibition of your work with others, and allows you to explore how exhibiting can transform the way work is received and interpreted. It will provide a physical space for exhibitions which will be curated and installed by students, and you will gain practical and conceptual knowledge of the mechanics of exhibiting.
