Module Learning Strategies
The module will employ a range of learning strategies including:
Weekly tutor or student - led seminars addressing issues and concerns pertinent to the development of the proposals.
Regular group critiques of work generated within the module
Formal and responsive individual tutorials with members of the MA teaching team.
Independent research
Workshop training in health and safety issues.

In practice-based modules, appropriate student supervision beyond the stated contact learning hours is determined by the number of students enrolled on the module per semester, and will be in accordance with current health and safety requirements.
Module Indicative Content
This module provides the framework for initiation, establishment and revision of your project proposal. You will execute a body of studio work and relevant research supported by regular seminars and tutorials. You will be required to present manifestations of your proposals to staff and your peers at the beginning and end of the module, and revise your proposal aims and objectives in response to critical analysis.

You will also be introduced to the specific workshop/studio/learning methodologies and protocols used in Fine Art, including all necessary health and safety requirements.
