The final module provides you with the foundation for advancing your career to higher levels of responsibility and achievement in digital forensics.¿ Having worked on live cases you will build your portfolio to demonstrate your accomplishments and prepare you for your end point assessment (EPA).¿

11) Following risk assessments; local, national and on digital forensics and crime scenes activities from multiple agencies to ensure the integrity of digital evidence.¿

Apprentices should complete these assessments as a demonstration of competence and receive a pass/fail outcome for the work. Apprentices completing the module for credit towards a CertHE will receive summative assessment marks as per the weightings given.





In preparation for the EPA, you will create a slide deck that showcases what you have learnt over the course of the apprenticeship. This will demonstrate your capabilities, developed through experience, in the role of the digital forensic technician. The final discussion will explore how your approach to digital forensics has changed and how you apply sound ethical and technical principles to investigation.¿



Both assessments work in tandem to meet all learning outcomes.¿

The module will be taught through a mixed approach to learning, providing you with an opportunity to practice new skills and develop knowledge within both a structured face-to face environment and through guided online discussions and webinars. This will align with the expectations of the employer to support on the job learning.¿

Towards the end of this module, you will receive further guidance towards completing the module assessment and collection of evidence for completion of the EPA portfolio. During this time, you will also be supported in your personal and professional development.¿
