Module Indicative Content
This module looks at the recent debates about media globalisation and its effects on international understanding.
It interrogates the concepts of the Old and New International Electronic Order, explores modern media's complex trans-national links, and discusses the relationship between economic, technological and cultural processes of social change.
This module addresses such important issues as the emergence of the global public sphere, the transformation of "New Europe's" media markets (countries of the former socialist bloc), and the creation of trans-national communities.
