Module Learning Strategies
1 Hour introductory lecture, followed by 3 two-hour workshops, 6 weekly tutorials. A combination of practical and analytical exercises
On-location audio recordings at three different times of the day (edited to three minutes each); all recorded sounds logged, prioritised and their functions analysed
Design sound log (i.e. detailed analytical breakdown): Identify an existing 2 minute sequence on film for a re-design
Compare and contrast original with re-designed sounds
