Module Indicative Content
This module will cover the processes involved in creating a virtual set for a film context and compositing it with digital video.

Students will cover:
- Concept and composition creation
- Polygon based modelling
- NURBS based modelling
- Lighting and Texturing 3D Models
- Recording 'green screen' footage
- Compositing digital video
Module Additional Assessment Details
The coursework takes the form of a portfolio composed of:

20% Practical based on the completion of two in class projects assessing learning outcome 1.
80% Project assessed as a portfolio comprised of a VLE forum 'thread' showing the week by week development of a practical piece of work assessing learning outcomes 2, 3 and 4.
