MODULE LEARNING STRATEGIES
The module comprises lectures and tutorials and involves team working skills within the assignment.
MODULE INDICATIVE CONTENT
The visual effects industry requires 3D Modellers who are able to create accurate, realworld objects and creatures to a photorealistic standard. This module allows students to further develop their 3Dmodelling skills, looking at further techniques of both hard surface and organic modelling. Time will be spent engaging with practice briefs to develop speed and accuracy in modeling practice. Then, student will engage with one of a number of presented briefs to produce a realistic 3D model that is suitable for purpose e.g. has correct edge flow for animation or makes extensive use of displacement mapping to reduce scene density.
MODULE ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT DETAILS
