Module Indicative Content
The portfolio requires the student to demonstrate practical ability in their chosen subject area. They pursue a practical piece of work agreed with their supervisor and proceed to design, implement and test the outcome.
All projects will be grounded in the technology of the award area and will allow the student to focus on extending their skills in the specific aspect they wish to pursue in industry.

Prior study of CE70038-5 Digital Compositing 2 or equivalent

Module Learning Strategies
Contact Hours
3 x 1 Hour introduction to project planning and management lectures followed by regular small group or individual tutorials with supervisor
Student centred learning to include production of practical work demonstrating specialist subject knowledge and skills.
Weekly meetings should take place with the supervisor to monitor the student's progress.
Assessment Details
A practical piece of work demonstrating deep study and application related to the student's degree title. (Learning Outcomes 1 and 2) 80% weighting
A twenty minute presentation and interview around the student's practical work. (Learning Outcomes 3 and 4) 20% weighting
