Module Indicative Content
Students will learn the fundamentals of geometry and dynamic character design which includes

1. Bipedal kinetic interpretation
2. Proportionality
3. Parametric functionality in form
4. Find contrast alignment within form and surface.
5. Development of tiered shell structures
6. Meaningful character ID
Module Additional Assessment Details
Hand drawn character design portfolio detailing a series of annotated sketches covering all aspects of an original character.

Assessing learning outcomes 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Module Learning Strategies
3 hours interactive lecture.

The lecture / lab will consist of 10 to 15 minutes of teaching and demonstration by the lecturer followed by 10-15 minutes of reflective work by students and this is repeated over the 3hour slot.
