Module Details
INDICATIVE CONTENT
This module covers the skills required to produce texture assets for the games industry.
Students will explore:

- Traditional and digital techniques for generating textures from scratch
- Image manipulation and compositing to generate textures
- Creating the multiple texture maps used in modern games engines
- UV mapping techniques with considerations for subject
- The application of fundamental art skills to texture creation
- Basic shader setup
