This module follows on from the Introduction to Scripting for 3d Applications 1A module and further introduces complex scripting practices. Key Topics include:
- Further Scripting terminology and syntax
- Classes
- Calling external scripts
- further mathematical principles for scripting
- introduction to developing a plug-in for 3ds Max
Module Additional Assessment Details
A COURSEWORK weighted at 100%.

Coursework weighted at 100%.
Consisting of: A practical weighted at 70%. A Presentation weighted at 30%.

PRACTICAL assignment will involve the creation of a single multi-functional script designed to improve the efficiency of 3d artist workflow

An IND PRESENTATION the presentation will justify the reasoning behind the script developed and show understanding of its place in the production pipeline. The presentation will show critical understanding of the methodologies behind the construction of the script; including structure, function and syntax.
