Content Creation Portfolio Including Photoshop Pieces and Video Pieces assessing all LOs.
Module Indicative Content
The module is an introduction to content creation for games communities from a theoretical and practical perspective. This is a work in practice module that helps you develop skills in thinking creatively, planning, designing and developing content for games communities.
During this module you will be introduced to the role of content creator for the games industry. You will learn how to think proactively and reactively to create engaging content for gaming communities and how to adapt your skills to different gaming communities.
You will gain basic technical skills in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro
From the theoretical perspective you will analyse the history of games media from a marketing and media point of view.
From the practical perspective you will be focussing on basic Adobe Photoshop and Premier Pro skills, alongside learning how to create content for different purposes pre-release, launch and post release.
You will develop a sense of where games communities hangout digitally and in the real world in order to develop a content management calendar and strategy.

You will be set live games community content briefs each week and will need to work in a professional manner to produce engaging content for a variety of gaming communities from MMO's, to AAA's.
