Module Indicative Content
This module covers the skills required to produce texture assets for the games industry.
Students will explore: -
- 2D Bitmap manipulation software
- Custom brushes
- Filters
- Bump maps, Specular maps, Normal maps, Alpha Maps
- Paths
- Vector and Raster art
- Procedural and Bitmap Textures
- Foundation Skills such as Light and Shadow

Texturing solutions will be aimed at multiple platforms depending on the students interest
