3 x 1 hour sessions introducing project planning and management followed by regular small group or individual tuturials with supervisor.

Student centred learning to include research and report writing.
Module Additional Assessment Details
1. Written proposal (Learning outcome 1) - 1,000 words.
2. Progress report (Learning outcomes 2 and 3) - 2,000 words.
3. Final report (Learning Outcomes 2 and 3) - 12,000 to 15,000 words.
Module Indicative Content
The dissertation requires the development of strong research and study skills, which are used to undertake a focused piece of academic study based on a subject grounded in the student's award area.

The dissertation should extend the range of skills developed on each student's chosen award.
