Module Additional Assessment Details
The Portfolio is composed of 2 elements:-
A PRACTICAL piece that consists of mobile game related assets (Learning outcomes 3 and 4)
A REPORT length 2000 words (Learning outcomes 1, 2, 3 and 4)
This report is an individual report, based on team working methods of problem solving, showing the students ability to demonstrate the critical thinking needed to analysis certain reoccurring themes games designers come across.

Students work in groups to complete game briefs working with mobile development technology.
Module Indicative Content
This module contains the use of critical thinking needed by games designs to solve games problems. Games principles are looked at in mobile games such as:-
- Temple Run
- Infinity Blade
- Angry Birds
- Doodle Jump
These games are analysed using games design concepts leading to the production of your own title.
Students work with in teams to produce mobile games development briefs using mobile development software and play testing platforms.
The titles developed will include social media links to connect with an ever growing international market.
Students will experience QA, Monesting Apps and Platform Optimisation as they progress from concept to a published product.
