Module Details
INDICATIVE CONTENT
The module forms the culmination of the course through the implementation of industry quality practices, workflows and scholarship in the resolution of a brief.


Students will research and consider some of the following skills / areas:
Research skills
Traditional art skills (drawing, anatomy, dynamic poses)
Concept Art

Digital sculpting techniques
Hard surface modelling
Material Surfaces, pipeline, and engine implementation
Accessories and props (e.g., Clothing & Armour)
Material setup, lighting and rendering
Procedural generation tools
World building and visual storytelling.
Game and Concept Art pipelines
Presentation skills

Assessment Component 1 - (Learning Outcomes 1,2,3)

Project artefact in answer to a brief weighted at 75% consisting of:

You will complete a given or live brief based on industry art standards and professional requirements. The final artefact(s) will meet the necessary specifications, artistic direction, and requirements therein. The final assets should be presented in a professional manner in accordance with the requirements of the brief.



Assessment Component 2 - (Learning Outcomes 4)

Development logbook and presentations weighted at 25% consisting of:

You will communicate the creative processes used and critically reflect on the artefact(s) in the form of a Digital Academy Forum thread and ongoing presentations with peers and the module team.
