Module Indicative Content
This module will consider the extent to which the sustainability / environmental management agenda is dependent on effective leadership and management. In the context of healthcare organisations, you will consider the national environmental strategies, policies, regulations and practices that govern environmental sustainability management. In particular, you will consider how these impact on your organisation and the benefits of implementing new technologies, to the patient care environment.
Module Additional Assessment Details
A formal report of 1500 words (+/-10%) weighted at 50% of the final module mark assessing LOs 1 & 2.
- Provide a critical analysis and evaluation of sustainability and environmental control leadership and management.
A formal report of 1500 words (+/-10%) weighted at 50% of the final module assessing LO3.
- Draw upon your findings in assignment 1, to communicate strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for sustainability and environmental control within your organisation.

The module will be delivered through a combination of:
Directed independent learning through workplace activities and guided reading from core texts and internet materials. Students will be encouraged to integrate their work based experiences with new knowledge and skills developed as the module progresses.
