Module Learning Strategies
These Learning Strategies will occupy your time: 2 x 1 hour meetings - at the beginning, and middle semester - with your History Placement Tutor. 60 hours spent in the work place negotiated with the 'employer' on an individual basis (viz: up to a 3 week block; extended programme of single or
half-days). 238 hours of independent study and application to the critical report.

Module Indicative Content
This module offers the opportunity to experience the professional world of work in the public sector (either in an archive, or a museum or a primary/secondary school, or the Middleport project). Particular attention is paid to an appreciation of the ethical, practical and technical issues involved in working with professionals in the audit-driven culture of the twenty-first century.
